Westminster is a city full of incredible cultural institutions that offer exciting, enriching experiences for children and young people. As a council, we believe it is important that all our children and young people with disabilities also have the same access to these cultural experiences as their peers. That’s why I’m really proud to be the first Council in the country to sign the Cultural Inclusion Manifesto. I hope this commitment sparks even greater collaboration between our exceptional special schools and cultural organisations, and we look forward to working with them to support this. I know this will help to make Westminster a fairer place for children and young people with SEND to grow up.
