The Cartoon Museum – Currently working on making the museum autism friendly, with plans to then widen to become more inclusive more generally.
As a museum our aim is to help everyone feel inspired to create cartoons and comics. As we work towards becoming a more inclusive museum, we have realised that this can only happen by having a layered offer. It will never be one-way fixes all. We are committed to working with and listening to experts and those with lived experiences to make sure the work we do is genuinely making a difference. We realise this work won’t have quick fixes, and that it will never have a complete end point and so we are committed to giving our disability and inclusion work the time and respect it deserves.
